The cheese pate recipe that I offer you today is very simple, easy to make and tremendously tasty. It is prepared only with cheese, mayonnaise and garlic, 3 ingredients of nothing!

Apart from being able to eat this pate spread on bread, it will also serve to accompany fried or cooked potatoes, rice, a grilled steak, etc. It's actually a kind of pate-salad ...

It is a very tasty appetizer-starter-accompaniment. Everyone will like it. Trust me!

Ingredients

cheese - 300 g
mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp.
garlic - 1 clove

Instructions

With the help of a fine grater, grate the cheese.

Put the cheese in a deep plate.

It is better to be short of garlic and add a little more if necessary than overdoing it. If you don't have a garlic press, grate or chop it very, very fine with the help of a knife.

You can use the cheese you want. I put a piece of tender cheese made from cow's milk. To make this recipe, I like to use mild tasting cheese.

The mayonnaise that I have used is homemade, made with this recipe. If you also decide to make it on your own, remember that so that the mayonnaise does not cut you, all the ingredients have to be at room temperature.

With the purchased mayonnaise the cheese pate will also be very rich. Buy the one you like the most or the one you usually use.

Before grating the garlic, you can cut it in two and remove the stem from inside. They say that without that stem the garlic flavor is milder.

Once I tried to do it like this, but the truth is that I did not notice that it was softer. So I insist on putting a small amount of garlic at first and then, if necessary, add a little more. Garlic has to complete the cheese flavor, not disguise it.
