HOMEMADE BURGER WITH CHIKEN AND BEEF

Homemade burger is probably the most popular recipe in the world.
 Burgers are nothing more than a fillet of minced meat, to which various ingredients are added to taste and then linked together. 
Today this recipe is often attributed to American culture, but the Roman patricians already had a version of the burger. Much later, 

the Germans took it to the United States and it was they who commercialized it all over the world. Here, we are going to make a standard burger, with the most basic ingredients, including those that we will put in the bread. Keep in mind that later you can add or remove as you like.
 Let's see how to make homemade burgers.

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:

250 g minced beef and 250g minced chiken
40g breadcrumbs
2 eggs
salt and pepper
2 garlic cloves and 1/4 onion, minced and previously passed through the pan
1 tablespoon of mustard (you can add another one of tomato sauce, if you wish)

TO ASSEMBLE THE HAMBURGER:

Some lettuce leaves
4 hamburger buns
4 slices of cheese
1 onion cut into rings
4 thin tomato slices

ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard…. The sauce that we like the most

Instructions

1.- In a bowl, mix the ingredients of the homemade burgers. 
The eggs will give them a touch of extra creaminess, while the breadcrumbs, which, as you can see, are not enough to maintain that creaminess, will give a little crunch. Garlic and onion, 
I poop them previously, so that it does not taste too wild although, if you prefer, you can add it raw. We mix with clean hands

2.- Now we divide the dough into 4 equal portions. 
We knead them one by one, quickly passing them from one hand to the other (thus, we manage to develop the protein of the meat, preventing the burger from unraveling during cooking) and then, we crush them a little, giving it the shape of a hamburger

3.- We cook them. In a non-stick frying pan, put just a droplet of oil over medium heat and place the burgers on it. The exact cooking time will depend on the desired point of the meat. If we want it undercooked, 3 minutes for each of its faces will be enough. 
If we want it more done, double the time. 
When we turn it over, we put a slice of cheese on top of the burger, so that it melts.

4.- Once done, we assemble the hamburgers. 
We put in the bread, which previously we have passed a little through the pan to make it hot, a lettuce base and on top a tomato slice. 
On top we place the homemade burgers with the slice of cheese and on top, some onion rings. 
We finish dressing with our favorite sauce.

And ready! We'll have our home made burger already! 
A home-made fast food restaurant meal that is always appreciated. 
At the time of assembly, of course, you can add all the ingredients you want; york ham, a fried egg ... And you can accompany it with some good fried potatoes. I hope you like it!
